Anchoring the community's outdoor programming, the Steamboat Pavilion in New Iberia is an industrially expressive venue designed for public festivals, concerts, and civic events. Paying homage to the site's rich history, the design prominently features reclaimed brick salvaged from the original Steamboat Warehouse that once inhabited the property. The structure utilizes a smart, dual-level configuration: the upper tier provides a commanding open-air performance stage, while the lower level efficiently houses accessible public restrooms and support facilities tucked beneath the main platform.
